Mrs. Dorothy Breedlove was my Eighth Grade Home Room teacher at Watkinsville in 1954-55. It was the year that the Bishop Elementary students joined our class. Mrs. Breedlove was a friendly teacher who smiled a lot. I really liked her. She seemed to take personal interest in her students.
She was married to William Breedlove who served as our State Senator in the 50's. They lived on Colham Ferry Road. Both were active in community affairs. I interacted with them socially in the 70's, 80's & 90's. They were friends.
