Mrs. Emil Forehand taught fifth grade at Watkinsville for decades. She was my homeroom teacher- in the early fifties, there was only one fifth grade class. She retired in 1968.
Mrs. Forehand was a serious techer who did not tolerate much foolishness. She was a good teacher. I remember being asssigned a "career choice" essay to research and write. She made a lasting impression.
