Remembering the Teachers of Oconee County, Georgia
This site is dedicated to the memory of many teachers
in the history of Oconee County who have contributed
so much to the youth of Oconee County and helped make
Oconee County a great place to live.
As we age, we fondly
and affectionately remember teachers because of impressions
made long ago. Acts and words that may have meant little
at the time take on very significant meanings as students
experience life and gain the maturity to appreciate
those acts and words. |

| Life can be stressful. Teaching
is a challenge. To those who handled the stress and still
smiled, loved and taught, we say thanks. We also thank
the Good Lord for sending them our way. Life is
much richer because of their presence and contributions. |
